Biography

I'm 32. Attorney. Live in New York. And I will sue your ass.

Nah, I'm a lover, baby, not a hater. Besides, I do corporate defense.

I grew up in the Midwest thinking I would be a firefighter. I mean, the yellow rubber pantsuit and Dalmatian accessory? H-O-T. But then I became a disaffected yoot, dyed my hair black, listened to the Cocteau Twins and felt like one with Sharon Olds and Anne Sexton. Totally. Intent on becoming my generation's Slyvia Plath (without the oven problem), I headed to an liberal arts joint in the East, got preppy, played field hockey and started to dream of being the next William Shawn at the New Yorker. After college, I moved to San Francisco for two years during the high-flying internet days to be with The Honey (aka The Husband or DK) and thought . . . perhaps law?

So, I moved to Boston for law school. Then I moved to Dallas for love. Then moved to New York for sanity.

So, I am finally settled in Manhattan for the foreseeable future, married, working as a lawyer and using the internet as an outlet for my failed firefighter/poet/editor aspirations. Firefighter? You betcha.
